The fabric is antimicrobial, which ensures long-term use and, when used with a mattress pad, protects the mattress pad from contamination. The treatment that the liner fabric undergoes is approved for use by the EPA (USA) and is used in many hospitals. The liner provides an excellent solution as a replacement for a mattress pad, for use in places without bed linen or when the place is less clean than we are used to.
